Alphonso Davies is now in the final 18 months of his contract with the Bundesliga giants.
Alphonso Davies is on the radar of Real Madrid and there is a fresh development on his transfer story. The agent of the Bayern Munich defender has denied reports claiming that Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement to sign the Canada international.
Davies is now in the final 18 months of his contract with the Bundesliga giants. He may not extend his contract after the summer of 2025.
Bayern will not extend the contract as Davies’s salary demands are high for them. Bavarians will entertain offers if negotiations do not lead to a positive solution.
There were some reports that Davies had already verbally agreed a switch to Real Madrid. While talking to journalist Fabrizio Romano, his representative Nedal Huoseh insisted that there is nothing set in stone with Real Madrid or any other interested party.
Househ said, “There is nothing agreed or concrete with any club. Alphonso’s focus at this time is FC Bayern. We will consider all our options for the future in the next months.”
Los Blancos would be forced to negotiate a fee with their German counterparts. They are reportedly ready to table a bid of £43m for his services.
