Real Madrid boss speaks to media and revealed a big update on the future of Lunin.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Andry Lunin is likely to stay in the Spanish capital this season. Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the Ukrainian goalkeeper is set to stay at Real Madrid. His contract will expire next summer and he will complete his contract.
Lunin took charge with gloves due to the injury of their first-choice option Thibaut Courtois last year. They tried the backup option of Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga. Lunin was vital in Real Madrid’s treble glory including La Liga and Champions League triumph.
Lunin is ready to leave the club as free agent in the summer of 2025. He has desire to play with Real Madrid for one more season. The 25-year-old will be the second-choice goalkeeper for Ancelotti in 2024/25.
Real Madrid boss speaks to media and revealed a big update on the future of Lunin, “Yes, he is going to stay.”
Lunin’s rival Kepa may not join Real Madrid on loan again. The Chelsea man is planning to seal a move to rival Premier League club, Bournemouth. Courtois is already back in the Madrid starting XI. He will also confirmed a break from international duty so he will be available for full season.
