Real Madrid star yet to make a final call on his career at Bernabeu

Real Madrid may be able to sell any of its players, but they are no longer able to make any new acquisitions. The Turkish transfer market is open until September 12th, and one team has their sights set on one of Xabi Alonso’s top players.

Real Madrid has started the new season well, winning three of their first three games in La Liga. They and the Athletic Club are the only clubs with a perfect record. Without Raul Asencio, who hasn’t played a minute since a terrible showing against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup semifinals, they have accomplished this.

According to reports, Asencio, a consistent starter for Real Madrid the previous season, has not persuaded Alonso. Additionally, this can indicate that he is transferable. According to Diario AS, the Turkish powerhouses hope to recruit the 22-year-old before their transfer window ends, which might work in Besiktas’ favor.

Turkish giants eye surprise loan move for Real Madrid defender

Spain’s transfer window is already closed; however, La Liga players can still join teams like the Turkish League, where the window is still open. Besiktas enters the fray at this point. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was recently let go by the Istanbul team, and Sergen Yalcın was brought in as his successor.

A powerful and quick center-back who can provide fierce opposition to players like Felix Uduokhai, Tiago Djalo, and Gabriel Paulista is what the new coach is searching for. As a result, Asensio has become a top transfer target for Besiktas, who are reaching out to Real Madrid to inquire about the feasibility of a loan agreement.

Fenerbahce has also expressed interest in Asencio’s services; therefore, Besiktas is not the only Turkish team interested in his services. However, Besiktas has so far shown the greatest interest and is anticipated to make a concerted effort to try and get the Spaniard to arrive in Turkey before the transfer deadline on September 12.

However, Real Madrid is unlikely to let Asensio go because they want to keep depth in central defense and are concerned about the injuries of Rudiger, Militao, and David Alaba.
