Brahim Diaz, an attacking midfielder, will soon complete his loan assignment at Milan and then fly back to Real Madrid
Even if his two-year loan with Milan wasn’t the most steady, the former Manchester City player still manage to score some significant goals this past season.
The 23-year-old will reportedly return to Real Madrid, according to Daniele Longo and a number of other Italian media outlets. Real Madrid and the player are close to agreeing to a new contract that will keep them together through the summer of 2027.
The departure of Marco Asensio, who will be joining Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, has sped up his return to Real Madrid.
The offensive midfielder is anticipated to participate in preseason games with the Los Blancos team.
Milan still wants to hire him on a long-term basis, but they are unwilling to pay Real Madrid’s asking price. He will now go back to his parent club and compete for a berth in Carlo Ancelotti’s first team.
