Carlo Ancelotti has acknowledged that he is “excited” about Brazil’s wish to appoint him as the new coach of the Selecao
Since Tite left after the 2022 World Cup, the Brazilian Federation CBF has been openly dating Ancelotti and has intensified their search for the Real Madrid manager.
Ancelotti has consistently dismissed the Brazilians’ advances, but in his most recent news conference, he emphasised his dedication to Real and seemed to flirt a bit. Ancelotti told the media, “The truth is that the Brazilian national team wants me; I enjoy that, it’s exciting. Then, you must uphold the terms of the agreement you have, which I want to uphold.
Ancelotti’s future is still up in the air at Real Madrid, according to a report from 90min on Friday, but president Florentino Perez is still a big fan of the legendary Italian and wants to avoid making any hasty choices.
Brazil will have to wait until the conclusion of the current campaign before Real makes a decision, but Ancelotti was clear that he has no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. Everything is crystal obvious; I’ll remain here for as long as Madrid permit me to do so, Ancelotti continued.
“I feel a lot of love from the president, the supporters, and the players, and everything around me is very calm. We now have 2.5 months to attempt to take home two trophies. Ancelotti did, however, give CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues a playful message before he left. “I would love to meet and greet the CBF president if he wants to talk to me,” he said.
