Carlo Ancelotti gives some positive update ahead of Mallorca clash.
Defender David Alaba has recovered from his calf injury and returned to first-team training.
He has missed Real Madrid’s last seven games in all competitions and played his last game against Villarreal.
The defender has been a mainstay at Real Madrid under manager Carlo Ancelotti this season and his return would definitely bring positivity to the squad.
On the other hand, Eder Militao is expected to be on the sidelines for a number of weeks and could be a huge blow for the reigning champions.
“Alaba is fine, he’s available,” Ancelotti told a press conference. “He trained very well yesterday and can play without any problems.”
He further added: “Militao and Karim are being tested now, it doesn’t seem to be serious. I think they will travel to the Club World Cup, I don’t know if they will be available for the first game or the second.”
Real Madrid will visit Mallorca tonight to play their 20th game of the season at the Iberostar Stadium.
