Carlo Ancelotti gives a positive injury update on their trip to Manchester this evening.
The Real Madrid boss has confirmed both Antonio Rudiger and Eduardo Camavinga will be available at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
The Spanish giants had four doubts for the second-leg clash as David Alaba, Rodrygo, Karim Benzema and Eduardo Camavinga sat out in last weekend’s win over Getafe.
After the win, Ancelotti confirmed that Rudiger will start in the second-leg but he misheard the original question, which he thought was about Rodrygo.
“I think there was a misunderstanding,” said Ancelotti. “I thought you were talking about Rodrygo, not Rudiger. I said he might play. I’m sorry for any misunderstanding. He [Rodrygo] wasn’t on bench against Getafe. I genuinely thought you were talking about Rodrygo.
“I’m fortunate enough to have all the players available. Camavinga is available. It is a problem and increases the difficulty but you can be assured that I have a clear plan and know what I want to do. I have the line-up in my head.”
