Marco Asensio is set to leave Real Madrid on a free transfer.

The Spanish playmaker has lost his place at Real Madrid and will be making his move away from Bernabeu this summer.

His contract expires in June and he is yet to sign a contract with the Spanish giants.

Asensio has been heavily linked with Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool in the last few months.

The 27-year-old has won three Champions League titles, three La Liga titles, four Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, three Spanish Super Cups and one Copa del Rey with Real Madrid.

But according to reports, PSG are leading the race for the Spaniard and both parties are in ‘advanced negotiations’.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti has no idea about Asensio’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“On the subject of Asensio, I don’t know what the situation is, just as I don’t know about Nacho. Before the last game, everything will be cleared up,” Ancelotti told reporters.

“On a personal level, I’m sad to see them go because they are very important. We’ll prepare for next season depending on the decisions they make.”
