Real Madrid was accused of putting pressure on referees during games.

Club manager Carlo Ancelotti discussed about claims Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin made on Real Madrid setting pressure on match officials during games.

In the Copa del Ray match against both clubs, Stefan Savic was shown two yellow cards whereas Dani Ceballos avoided punishment for similar action.

Gil Marin said in a statement that officials are apparently afraid of going against Real Madrid.

But manager Carlo Ancelotti reassures that there is nothing of that sort in recent times.

“I have not read the comments, though I have heard something,” Ancelotti said. “I don’t want to talk about it. The only thing I can say is that my character is my character and I respect to all opinions.

“It was a competitive match, an even match. I think for our part we deserved to win. The rest are matters I won’t talk about.”
