Carlo Ancelotti sends message to Asensio amid Liverpool interest

Carlo Ancelotti talks about frustrated Marco Asensio at Real Madrid.

The 25-year old attacker has been limited to four substitute appearances for Ancelotti’s side this season.

The winger is frustrated with the lack of game-time this season and has been recently linked with a January move to Liverpool.

According to reports, Real Madrid are listening to offers for their star player but Ancelotti insisted that his chance will soon come for the former La Liga champions.

Carlo Ancelotti understands Asensio’s frustrations and will soon be playing for the first-team squad.

“Everyone knows what I think of him, putting together a lineup is complicated,” Ancelotti said.

“It may be that he’s unhappy, that’s normal. It would be abnormal for a player who doesn’t play to be happy. If Asensio, Isco, [Luka] Jovic aren’t happy, that’s fine. They don’t have to be. He trains well, and I like that

“If everyone is plugged in they’ll have minutes. Isco and Jovic changed the dynamic of the team when they came on.”
