Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk could be tempted by summer exit to Real Madrid

Ancelotti Warns Mbappe and Endrick: Real Madrid Standards Must Be Met

Carlo Ancelotti has issued a firm warning to Real Madrid’s latest signings, Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, emphasizing the high standards expected at the club.

Both players have already tasted success, lifting the Super Cup after their summer arrivals, but Ancelotti has reminded them that the road ahead will be tough.

Mbappe arrived on a high-profile free transfer, while Brazilian prodigy Endrick joined after turning 18. Despite their early silverware, Real Madrid’s start to the La Liga season has been mixed, with two dropped points in four games.

Ancelotti’s men now trail arch-rivals Barcelona, who are a perfect four-for-four under new coach Hansi Flick.

Speaking at a conference in Mexico, Ancelotti highlighted the expectations placed on all Real Madrid players, especially newcomers.

“Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world. Every player must bring their best to help the team succeed,” Ancelotti stressed.

“Winning isn’t easy, but at Real Madrid, you fight for every game until the end. That’s the mentality we demand when you wear this shirt.”

Mbappe recently opened his La Liga goal tally with a brace against Real Betis, while Endrick found the net in a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid.

However, Endrick has seen limited action under Ancelotti, with just nine first-team minutes so far, reflecting the intense competition for places.

Ancelotti, renowned for his ability to manage egos and nurture talent, made it clear that both players are adapting well but must continue to meet the high bar set by the club.

With a long season ahead, Madrid’s latest stars have much to prove in the famous white shirt.
