Eden Hazard has struggled with injuries since his move to Real Madrid from Chelsea.

The Belgium forward has failed to live up to his big-money move from Stamford Bridge to Santiago Bernabeu in 2019.

Due to the injuries he sustained in the last couple of years, Hazard seemed to have adapted his game in recent seasons.

He missed more than 30 games last season due to various injury setbacks.

His game at Madrid has been restricted due to lack of form and injury.

Both Vini Jr and Rodrygo has been playing up front instead of Hazard this season even though the Belgian is completely fit.

Christian Benteke believes his international teammate has adapted his game and moves more intelligently now.

“Hazard has a history of important injuries and now he avoids more contact in his game,” Benteke has said during international duty, as cited by Diario AS.

“When you have had a past like this, you subconsciously think of it. But it’s not because he doesn’t dribble past five or six men, he doesn’t need to do that now to have a good game.

“Now he moves more intelligently on the field.”
