Real Madrid’s top midfield target Eduardo Camavinga said it feels good to be wanted.
Many have tipped him to take the leap to Madrid next summer.
Rennes are aware of Real’s interest and would be open to selling if their valuation is met. The youngster broke through the ranks last season as a giddy teenager. At just 17, Camavinga showed just how talented he is in central spaces.
He already has made 64 senior appearances for Stade Rennais and earned 2 caps for France including one international goal. Zinedine Zidane badly wants to bring him to the Spanish capital but is sure to face competition from PSG, Juventus and Manchester United.
“Of course it is nice when a big club is interested in you,” Camavinga told Canal as speculation mounts over his future. “[But] me, I keep a cool head. I am at Stade Rennais. We will wait until the end of the season. We will meet around the table and we will weigh the pros and cons [then].”
Camavinga is a man of many talents. While he debuted as a defensive pivot, he has slowly progressed as an advanced box-to-box option. His close control, dribbling ability paired with his eagerness to stop attacks makes him a quality option in midfield.
