'He Is A Great Player' - Bernat Talks Up Sergio Ramos Amidst PSG Rumours

Sergio Ramos getting linked with PSG has drawn some reaction out of the players.

Juan Bernat was asked about the rumours and he expressed a lot of respect for the Los Blancos skipper.

Ramos is in the final year of his contract with Real and extension talks are currently ongoing. The Galacticos are hesitant to offer anything more than 12 months but Ramos has demanded for 24.

At 35, the Spaniard clearly wants some security in his future as he sees out his final days as a professional. He is still an integral part of the team’s defence, start regularly in all competitions.

Bernat has spent time with Ramos on international duty. He has played for PSG over the past two seasons, featuring in 76 games.

Speaking about the speculation, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo, Bernat said, “It’s true, he is a leader, a great player, he has shown it in his career. He is an incredible player, with a lot of character. But I can’t say anything else, they are just rumours. ”

Ramos is tipped to stay at Real but nothing can be said for certain. Fans expect him to be a one-club man even if it means drawing back on his contract demands.
