Kylian Mbappe has finally broken his silence on the swirling transfer rumors linking his international teammate, Michael Olise, with a move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe: Every Club Would Love to Have Olise
The French superstar, currently leading the line for Los Blancos, addressed the speculation during a recent interview with BILD.
Real Madrid enjoyed a frantic summer transfer window, securing seven new signings. However, they missed out on their pursuit of Olise, who remained at Bayern Munich.
The Spanish giants eventually pivoted their focus to Yan Diomande after failing to land the former Crystal Palace winger.
When asked about the possibility of Olise joining him at the Santiago Bernabeu, Mbappe chose his words carefully. He admitted he noticed the links but refused to actively recruit his compatriot.
“I saw the links but I think it would be disrespectful to advise a player to leave,” Mbappe explained. “That would be unfair to Bayern.”
Mbappe also highlighted the immense value Olise currently brings to the German champions, emphasizing that the winger has everything he needs to succeed in Munich.
“Bayern are a great club where Michael can achieve a lot,” Mbappe added.
“Of course, every club in the world would love to have Michael Olise. He’s an outstanding player.”
While Mbappe’s comments serve as a diplomatic response, they also underscore the high regard in which he holds Olise.
The Bayern star has evolved into one of Europe’s most dangerous attackers, blending creativity with technical brilliance.
Although Real Madrid currently boasts a star-studded attack featuring Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Diomande, the club’s main challenge is finding tactical balance rather than hoarding more talent.
Olise would offer a natural right-sided profile a role Madrid often lacks making him a fascinating prospect for the future.
For now, Mbappe respects Olise’s current chapter in Bavaria, but the door at Madrid may remain open for a future reunion.
