Benzema confident of seeing Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly pressuring Kylian Mbappe into signing a new contract.

Talks over a new deal have been hovering as the Frenchman’s current agreement runs out in June 2022.

Real Madrid have been involved in a long transfer saga with PSG over the 22-year-old superstar. Speculation behind it resurfaced after Mbappe scored a hat-trick at Camp Nou to nearly knock Barcelona out of the Champions League.

PSG are obviously motivated to keep their two biggest superstars for longer, Neymar and Mbappe. Both of them are earning around €30m a season and are the heartbeat of this Qatar-backed Ligue 1 side.

Mbappe is aware of the interest in him. Signing him will not come cheap by any means and only a selected few can afford him. The forward is not rushing his decision right now. He still wants to see how the current season plays out and then weigh his options.

Seeing how fast he is climbing the ranks to the very top, he is likely to set another transfer record if he decides to leave PSG. What Madrid are doing on their part is stacking up pieces to make this move possible. We have already seen a massive exodus of players in the past two transfer windows and more are yet to follow.
