Fichajes reports that Real Madrid is interested in signing Christos Mouzakitis, an Olympiacos midfielder. Los Blancos are apparently planning a €30 million move to sign the great talent next year.
The 18-year-old rose through the Greek club’s youth ranks and is now a key component of their senior squad. Mouzakitis has already appeared in 52 games for Olympiacos, scoring two goals and contributing six assists in all.
The talented youngster is currently one of the best young midfielders in Greek football. As a consequence, it is predictable that Real Madrid wants to sign him next year. His current agreement with Olympiacos will end in the summer of 2029. As a result, Los Blancos will need to make a persuasive offer if they want to sign him next season.
Mouzakitis is willing to work hard for his club on defence and can shoot the ball with venom from long range. He possesses the vision to create a few clear-cut opportunities in the final third and is an effective dribbler with the ball at his feet.
Real Madrid weighing up £25 million offer for Greek midfielder
According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid has added Olympiacos prodigy Christos Mouzakitis to their short list. Los Blancos are reportedly considering an offer of roughly £25 million for the 18-year-old midfield ace.
Despite his young age, Mouzakitis has already made over 50 appearances for Olympiacos’ first squad, 16 of which have occurred this season. He also has seven caps for the Greek national team. Mouzakitis started and played the whole 90 minutes for Olympiacos against Real Madrid last week, and Xabi Alonso’s squad won 4-3.
Following the game, the manager praised the young midfielder, and Real Madrid is now contemplating making a bid for him. Mouzakitis, on the other hand, is drawing serious attention from Premier League heavyweights Manchester United, with Arsenal and Chelsea also keeping an eye on his progress.
The teenager’s contract with Olympiacos extends until 2029. It would be intriguing to watch whether Real Madrid follows through on their interest and makes a bid for the young midfield sensation.
