Luka Modric’s agent has revealed that the situation “will be clearer” next week.
Luka Modric’s agent Vladica Lemic makes his final decision on the future of Croatia international. His situation is not clear yet and we will soon reach a final decision at the end of this month.
Modric’s contract will expire at the end of the season. He is heavily linked with a move away from Madrid. Los Blancos is not considering him in future plans.
The Croatia international has no plans to retire, and he may plan to leave to Saudi Arabia this summer where he can play his final years. He will be a free agent now.
His agent has addressed player’s future at Bernabeu and revealed that the situation “will be clearer” next week.
Lemic told Koora, “So far there is nothing clear about Modric’s future with Real Madrid. Next week things will be clearer for us. Real Madrid is Modric’s home and together we will decide what is best.”
Modric has featured in 42 matches in all competitions, scoring twice and registering seven assists in the process. Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti picks Toni Kroos, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde ahead of him in the pecking order.
Real Madrid are expected to switch to a 4-3-3 formation next season. Saudi Arabian clubs prepared to pay him a serious amount of money to move to the Saudi Pro League this summer. He can also plan a move to Major League Soccer next season. His former club Dinamo Zagreb have also made no secret of their desire to bring him back on a free transfer.
