Jonathan David has scored 13 goals in Ligue 1 this season ahead of Mbappe and Messi.

Real Madrid are following Lille attacker Jonathan David. According to Marca, Ancelotti’s side looks interested in Ligue 1 player.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in Ligue 1 this season, leading the goalscoring charts ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

Not just Real Madrid, he is on the radar of some big European clubs from England, Germany and Italy. Los Blancos’ interest is the most significant.

Real Madrid manager is looking to boost his squad for the next season and he believes David would be a big inclusion to his attack.

Nick Mavromaras, Jonathan David’s agent, has confirmed that this season will be Canadian’s last in the French top-flight.

Mavromaras added in an interview with So Soccer, “For us, the goal is to finish the season with Lille, but it will be his last season there for various reasons,”

“I think the Premier League is a great option for him.

“I think he also likes Spain a lot, because he likes the feeling of the ball. He’s a very technical player.”
