Real Madrid plans to recruit both Mbappe and Haaland next summer

Real Madrid will continue to pursue Mbappe’s signature but will also target Haaland ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Los Blancos reportedly have plans to recruit both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland in the summer of 2022. They were already having a talk with Mbappe but the club also want Haaland to make the squad bit stronger.

Kylian Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire in six months and he has already hinted that he will move from Paris. The 23-year-old will be able to hold pre-contract negotiations with other clubs from January 1.

Meanwhile, PSG sporting director Leonardo remains confident that the Frenchman will commit his future to the Parisian outfit.

On the other side, Haaland is already a hot property in the transfer market. He is supposed to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer when his £64m release clause becomes active.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed Real Madrid’s interest in Bundesliga man. His agent Mino Raiola has denied reports that a move to the Santiago Bernabeu has already been agreed.

As per the reports of Fichajes, Los Blancos will continue to pursue Mbappe’s signature but will also target Haaland ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Mbappe has netted 13 goals and provided 14 assists in 23 appearances for PSG this season, while the Norway international has scored 19 goals and has registered five assists in just 16 matches across all competitions for Dortmund.
