Ferland Mendy’s current deal with Los Blancos will expire in the summer of 2025.
According to the reports of Defensa Central, Manchester City have set their sights on Real Madrid full-back Ferland Mendy. January’s transfer window is open and Man City are eyeing a move to sign the Frenchman in the summer of 2023.
Mendy has experienced a solid season at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 27-year-old appeared in 18 matches for his club. The French talent has even been accurate when distributing the ball from the back.
Ferland Mendy’s current deal with Los Blancos will expire in the summer of 2025. It won’t be easy for the Premier League giants to land him on the cheap this year.
The 27-year-old full-back is a good tackler of the ball and can make a few timely interceptions for his side on the defensive end of the field.
He is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and is quite experienced at the highest level.
We can expect Mendy to add more quality to Pep Guardiola‘s defence at the Etihad Stadium. Mendy has got his best years ahead of him which makes him a good choice for Man City to pursue later this year.
