The future of Marco Asensio at Real Madrid is unknown as it appears doubtful that a new deal can be reached
The Spanish international could look to leave the club when his contract expires at the conclusion of the season because he only plays on the squad at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In recent months, Marco Asensio’s fortunes have taken a significant turn for the better. Clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool were reportedly interested in signing the Spaniard throughout the summer. Despite the fact that his current contract expires at the conclusion of the season, it did not materialise and he continued to play for Real Madrid.
Several teams, notably Arsenal and Barcelona, rivals of Real Madrid in the el Clasico, have expressed interest in the 26-year-old. He would not, however, be a likely starter at either of those clubs.
According to Media Foot in France, as reported by MD, a different team is rumoured to have joined the competition for Asensio’s signature. Sporting Director Luis Campos is rumoured to be an Asensio fan, which is why Paris Saint-Germain wants to add him to their growing Spanish contingent at the Parc des Princes.
Although Christophe Galtier already has players like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi at the club, he would probably only be a squad player there as well.
