Raphael Varane, a star for Manchester United, has discussed his future and left the door open for a possible return to Real Madrid
The French defender stated in an interview his desire to wrap up his playing days at one of his previous teams, Real Madrid, Manchester United, or Lens. Varane admitted that going back to Madrid would be difficult but he doesn’t want to hurry the process.
Many people were shocked when Varane left Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 after ten productive years there, but the central defender managed the situation well. The team respected his choice when he expressed a desire to begin a new phase of his career elsewhere than in Madrid.
Varane left Madrid last summer as part of a bigger exodus that also involved Sergio Ramos and Zinedine Zidane.
Varane’s potential return to Madrid is a thrilling option for the team and the supporters. A comeback to the Bernabéu is made more likely by his great rapport with Real Madrid in general and Florentino Pérez in particular.
Real Madrid will probably target younger players in the upcoming summer, it must be mentioned. Despite the fact that they will likely face fierce competition from Premier League teams, they are one of the clubs mentioned in connection with a move for Josko Gvardiol. Portuguese centre-back Antonio Silva, who is presently playing for SL Benfica, is another option for the Galacticos.
