Real Betis has reportedly asked Real Madrid about a possible loan for Gonzalo Garcia, a forward, according to a disclosure made by Fichajes. Under Xabi Alonso, the Real Madrid academy product has clearly struggled to get consistent playing time, and many close to him think a loan could give him the stability he needs to develop and gain confidence.
Manuel Pellegrini, the manager of Betis, is therefore actively looking for a striker and believes Gonzalo would be a perfect fit. In the second part of the season, the forward, who is described as young, hungry, and with exceptional projection, might significantly improve Betis’ assault.
According to the La Liga team, a loan is an affordable, low-risk way to improve a position that has been difficult for them this season. Additionally, Pellegrini thinks Gonzalo’s presence would drive the current forwards to improve their game by increasing competition within the team. Gonzalo’s potential is fully recognised by Real Madrid, who have no plans to permanently sell him.
Gonzalo Garcia is wanted by Real Betis
Garcia has a bright future and is a fantastic talent. In the future, he hopes to become a key member of Real Madrid’s squad. At this point in his career, though, he needs more visibility. For him, too, working with Pellegrini might be perfect. He has demonstrated his abilities as a quality manager at several clubs throughout Europe. He might help the 21-year-old develop as a player.
The striker’s transfer to Real Betis appears to be the best option on paper, but it’s unclear if the two sides can reach a consensus. Real Madrid could think about loaning the young player out so he can get some much-needed team experience in the second half of the season, since they have plenty of attacking options open to them.
The striker is well-liked by the team, and manager Xabi Alonso has likened him to club great Raul in the past. He has also been called spectacular by Joselu.
