Yes, Real Madrid does spend a lot of money on signing players. But what most people overlook is the strength of Real Madrid’s academy, which has produced some of the finest players of all time who have established a name for themselves in football history. Real Madrid’s youth system, La Fabrica, which translates as “The Factory,” has produced luminaries like as Iker Casillas, Raul, Michel, Guti, Alvaro Arbeloa, Chendo, Manolo Sanchis, Emilio Butragueno, Vicente Del Bosque, and many more.
According to the CIES football observatory, Real Madrid has the most academy alumni playing for different teams in the top-5 European leagues while also having the greatest academy in Spain. Trophies and awards
Real Madrid won the UEFA Youth League for the first time since the competition’s inception in 2013, defeating Benfica 3-2 in the 2019/20 final. Real Madrid excelled throughout the final phases in Nyon, Switzerland, with club veteran Raul Gonzalez in the dugout, and can now claim to have the finest Under-19s team in Europe.
Much of the attention following this victory was on Raul and what this means for his blossoming coaching career, but there are some remarkable young players who deserve to be recognized as well, as they will be the future La Liga rising stars in a few years.

Luis Lopez (goalkeeper) – Real Madrid Under-19 team
Luis Lopez is one of the players with whom the Real Madrid and Spanish national team youth coaches have great aspirations. In the Youth League final, the goalie saved a penalty against Benfica with a fantastic save. Despite the fact that his goalkeeping partner Toni Fuidias was also granted minutes throughout the tournament’s final stages, Raul chose Lopez for the most important time, and this decision paid off.
Lopez is not just a technically superior goalie, but also an astute player and leader. During this season’s Youth League, he showed exactly how amazing he can be by appearing in all ten of Real Madrid’s games and scoring four goals. Gutierrez also scored at crucial times, scoring in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
His goals demonstrate that he is an attack-minded full-back, but he also tirelessly executes his defensive duties. In addition, he is a leader who has captained his team on numerous occasions as well as taken penalty-taking responsibilities when necessary.
Zidane called him up to the first team following the coronavirus pause and he is expected to make a senior debut soon.
Pablo Ramon (center-back) – Real Madrid Under-19 team
Pablo Ramon, along with Miguel Gutiérrez, is the only other player who appeared in every single match during Real Madrid’s successful Youth League season. Ramón joined Real Madrid’s Under-19s from Real Mallorca’s academy in the summer of 2019, having previously made his senior debut for the islanders.

Ramón has a clear road to the first team, and he is eager to take the next step by becoming a starter for Castilla, Real Madrid’s B squad that competes in Spain’s third division, next season.
Antonio Blanco (central midfielder) – Real Madrid Under-19 team
Antonio Blanco was the main player in the midfield for Ral’s side during Real Madrid’s march to Youth League triumph in Nyon. The squad revolved entirely on the central midfielder, since it was Blanco who frequently won the ball back for his team and began assaults.
His touch is as gentle as his tackles are hard, and Blanco has remarked that nothing makes him happier than putting his teammates in advantageous situations, which is evident while watching him.
