Nacho is feeling good about Real Madrid’s recent run of form.
The Galacticos managed a win over Celta Vigo to move three points closer to La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid.
They are also through to the final 8 of the Champions League, set to face Liverpool next. Zinedine Zidane’s men are finally performing with a bit of consistency which has been lacking all season.
Nacho said, “This is definitely our best spell of the season. We’ve put together a long run of good wins and draws. We go into the final stretch full of confidence, but that’s football. You have to keep working hard. The important thing is that we go into the international break with another win.
“The team is in great shape. We’ve won some really important games, like the one today. As we always say, we have to take each game at a time and work hard every day.”
One player who Real Madrid could use right now is Eden Hazard. But the Belgian’s horrific injury troubles continue to plague his Los Blancos career. Fans will be hoping for the other youngsters in his place to step up for the remainder of the campaign. Winning some sort of silverware is still possible with 10 games left in the league.
