Real Madrid are not favourites to retain the title this year.
Despite Real Madrid winning the 14th Champions League, they are not favorites to win the competition this year.
They have been brilliant this season with four wins out of four in the league.

“It doesn’t surprise me,” Ancelotti said in a news conference on Monday. “I see it as a good sign. Last year, we had even fewer possibilities in the statistics.
“This year we’ve improved a bit! What happened last year will happen [this year]. We’ll compete until the end, and let’s hope we can compete in the final.”
The Galacticos have won the competition five times in the past nine years.
“Real Madrid have always been respected in this competition,” Ancelotti said. “It’s not just about last year, it’s about our history. You never know what will happen. We have to think about the group, going through, and then we’ll see what happens after the World Cup.”
