In a fresh turn of events, Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly attracted interest from an unnamed Saudi Pro League club.

Thibaut Courtois credits his importance to Real Madrid's success

According to sources close to the club, a Saudi side has made contact with Courtois, expressing interest in a potential move for the Belgian shot-stopper, valued at €25 million.

However, Real Madrid have been quick to dismiss any possibility of a deal, emphasizing Courtois’ importance to their future plans.

The 31-year-old remains a key figure at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Los Blancos have no intention of parting ways with their first-choice goalkeeper.

This isn’t the first time Courtois has been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia. Earlier this summer, rumors circulated that a Saudi club was preparing a massive €70 million offer for the Belgian international.

Despite the hype surrounding the possible transfer, nothing materialized, with Real Madrid standing firm in their commitment to keeping Courtois.

Saudi clubs have been on a mission to lure top European talents to the Middle East, and Real Madrid players have not been immune to this trend.

Vinicius Jr. was also linked with a move to Saudi Arabia during the last transfer window, but like Courtois, he stayed with the Spanish giants.

Courtois, who is under contract with Real Madrid until 2026, is highly valued by the club’s management. Despite the presence of backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, Courtois remains Carlo Ancelotti’s first choice between the posts.

With a long-term contract in place and Real Madrid’s firm stance on his future, a move to Saudi Arabia seems highly unlikely.

Courtois, a vital figure in Madrid’s defense, will likely continue guarding the net for Los Blancos in the seasons to come.
