Real Madrid are confident they remain the priority for Palmeiras youngster Endrick
Endrick, who won the Copinha in January, is in the midst of what may be pivotal months in his career.
He won’t turn 16 until July, when he can sign his first professional contract – almost certainly with Palmeiras – but it was also expected that an eventual move to Europe would be arranged in a similar timeframe, despite the fact that he won’t be able to join any club outside Brazil until he turns 18.
Real Madrid have long been regarded the frontrunners to recruit the youngster, who is known to be a fan of the club, but they are not rushing into anything and are carefully considering the intricacies of a transaction that would not be cheap.
It is estimated that any operation to remove Endrick from Brazil might cost up to 45 million euros, similar to what happened with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
There is a sense that the other of Europe’s elite clubs, especially Premier League sides, are watching Real Madrid to see what’s going on. Los Blancos are content with their existing advantage and will take their time making a choice.
