Real Madrid are willing to sell Marco Asensio this summer amid recent interest from Liverpool and Arsenal
When the transfer window opens later this year, it is expected that Los Blancos will be willing to cash in on the Spanish attacker.
The 26-year-old has put up a string of impressive performances on the right side of Carlo Ancelotti’s assault. Asensio has 10 goals and one assist in 33 games for the Spanish club this season.
The Spain international has performed admirably in La Liga, averaging 2.1 shots, 0.9 critical passes, and 0.7 dribbles per 90 minutes. He has also been accurate while exchanging possession with his teammates in the final third, as indicated by his 87.6 percent pass completion percentage in the highest flight of Spanish football.
The Mallorca-born prodigy is currently a crucial component of Ancelotti’s side. Los Blancos, on the other hand, are bracing themselves for a busy summer in terms of new signings, which might force Asensio to leave the club.
The Madrid giants will gain from removing the name of the Spanish phenomenon from their salary bill. Furthermore, Asensio may enjoy a change of scenery this summer as he seeks greater playing time in the following seasons.
At the age of 26, the Real Madrid winger is approaching his peak. As a result, it is only fair to the player if Ancelotti releases him at the end of this season.
