Josko Gvardiol is experiencing a solid campaign at the Red Bull Arena.

According to a recent report from Football.London, Real Madrid could have a chance at acquiring Croatian prodigy Josko Gvardiol.

When asked by Relevo whether there’s a possibility of playing for the Spanish capital in the future, RB Leipzig defender replied: “Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, so who knows? Maybe one day I can play there.” Going further to say “I would like to, yes. Real Madrid, there’s no need [to learn about the club], I already know everything. I know it’s the biggest club in the world and how important it is to be linked to such a team.”

The Croatian defender is experiencing a solid campaign at the Red Bull Arena as he has put in a series of impressive displays in the backline. He has scored once over 17 appearances for the German outfit so far across all fronts.

RB Leipzig defender has even helped Croatia qualify for the knockout rounds of the 2022 FIFA World Cup featuring in all three matches held in the group stages.

The Croatian international has not racked up impressive numbers for his club as he has only averaged 0.4 tackles, 0.6 interceptions and 1.5 clearances per game in the Bundesliga.

Real Madrid are known for keeping an eye out for players performing exceptionally in the biggest tournament of football in search of potential signings that they can make in the upcoming transfer windows to bolster their squad.

Josko Gvardiol has a solid presence in the defensive third as he can sense the danger quickly to clear his lines and also make some crucial interceptions to win the ball back for his side.

The Croatian center-back has caught the eye of several clubs through his impressive performances and has the quality to outclass many defenders in the next few years.
