Real Madrid expects Toni Kroos to renew his contract by the end of the season

Kroos’ Real Madrid future, though, is questionable as we move into the summer. At the conclusion of the current season, the 33-year-contract old’s with the Merengues will expire. Furthermore, the midfielder has not yet made a decision.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup champion has often stated his intention to end his career with Real Madrid. The veteran player, who remains crucial to Carlo Ancelotti’s ambitions, has caused concern among the team that he will hang up his boots in the summer.

According to recent speculations, Kroos might decide on his future within the next month. But according to Pacojo on SER Deportivos, Real Madrid now anticipates that Kroos will extend his deal at the end of the current campaign and stay with the team for an additional year.

The 33-year-old veteran has participated in 19 of the 23 games played by the Merengues this season across all competitions. He has one goal and four assists on the season. Even if Real Madrid hopes to acquire Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, they view seasoned players like Kroos and Modric as crucial parts of the team’s overall strategy and want them to stay.
