Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana

Los Blancos are said to have selected the French centre-half as a target for the summer transfer window.

Fofana hasn’t played competitive football in a long time since he’s still recovering from a terrible injury. However, the 21-year-old was a delight to watch in the previous season, when he appeared in 42 games for the Foxes, collecting one assist and 11 yellow cards across the board.

Fofana is a strong central defender who can quickly sense any danger and recover the ball for his team inside his half. Standing at 1.90m, the French prodigy can use his powerful physique to overpower opponents in the air and is a good passer from the back.

The French sensation gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field based on his average of 1.8 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and 3.3 clearances per 90 minutes in the Premier League.

At the age of 21, Fofana has already established himself as one of Europe’s greatest young defenders. As a result, Los Blancos would be wise to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at the end of the season.

We can expect Fofana bringing a lot of bite and steel to Ancelotti’s defensive unit. As long as he continues to improve, the Leicester whizkid has what it takes to become a future star in the Spanish city.
