A rumor from the Spanish publication Fichajes claims that Real Madrid is considering Karim Adeyemi. The Borussia Dortmund attacking prospect has been identified by the defending La Liga champions as a possible replacement for Rodrygo.
The Bundesliga powerhouses want to part ways with the 22-year-old for about €50 million, although Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in him. The past several months have seen Karim Adeyemi establish himself as one of the Bundesliga’s top young talents. When the Black and Yellows hired the talented striker two years ago, they had to overcome fierce competition before he could establish a solid professional foundation.
Real Madrid wants to sign Borussia Dortmund forward
Karim Adeyemi is viewed as an equal substitute for Brazilian striker Rodrigo at the Royal Club; the latter may depart Real Madrid in the summer of 2019. Borussia Dortmund’s €50 million asking price is reasonable given Adeyemi’s ability and track record. It will be intriguing to watch, though, whether Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid are willing to part with €50 million in order to recruit the German international from the Bundesliga team.
