Real Madrid are planning to sign Khephren Thuram as Kroos replacement.
Real Marid have reportedly earmarked their perfect replacement for Toni Kroos who retired from professional football. The 34-year-old will announce retirement after the end of Euro 2024. His national team have qualified for the quarterfinal round.
Kroos scored one goal and provided 10 assists from 48 matches in La Liga. He won the treble last season and it was a perfect end to his club football.
The 34-year-old won the sixth Champions League winners’ medal and now, he is eyeing Euro Championship after reaching the quarterfinal.
Real Madrid are planning to sign Khephren Thuram as Kroos replacement. Ancelotti still has Federico Valverde, Dani Ceballos, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric available to him.
Real Madrid are also fighting with Manchester City for River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono. As per Sport, Los Blancos do intend to bolster their engine room with a direct replacement for Kroos this summer.
Thuram has scored nine goals and 12 assists from 167 games for Nice. His contract will expire in the next summer.
