Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Tanguy Ndombele.
Tottenham Hotspur paid £54m for the midfielder in 2019 and he has finally found his feet at London this season.
Under Jose Mourinho, Ndombele broke out as a starting figure, driving Tottenham’s creativity down the midfield. However, Spurs have suffered a poor campaign and plenty of fans have backed Ndombele to head out this summer.
Real Madrid are looking to strengthen their central areas with plenty of names on their shortlist. Zinedine Zidane ideally would like a technically gifted player with a big motor. The trio of Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric has consistently outperformed opposition teams for years now but they need help.
Federico Valverde has been the only other Madrid player capable of challenging for a starting role in Zidane’s squad. The Galacticos would like to add more depth to their midfield with players capable to filling in when needed.
Ndombele scored six goals and laid out four assists this campaign. He is capable of playing either in an attacking or deep-lying midfield role. The Frenchman can resist a strong pass, has quick feet and can chip in with goals form midfield.
