At a practice match between Real Madrid Castilla and Leganes B last summer, Fati initially attracted the attention of Los Blancos, according to Madrid Universal.
At the time, Fati was rumoured to be on the verge of joining Valencia but ultimately decided to stay with Leganes. Fati might be a welcome addition for Castilla and the C squad, as Real Madrid’s academy has been beset by injuries and inconsistent play, much like the first team. Fans of Fati describe the defender as an “imposing, physically dominant center-back, strong in duels, and very anticipative.” Additionally, he is referred to as an “indispensable player” for Leganes’ B team.
Real Madrid agrees personal terms with defender
