The just closed January transfer window did not see Real Madrid as the busiest club

With the exception of acquiring Endrick from Palmeiras, the defending Spanish champions did not make any notable acquisitions. When he turns 18 in 2024, the Brazilian prodigy is expected to join the team after Real Madrid spent a fortune on his services.Endrick’s acquisition was a critical component of Real  Madrid’s long-term goals. Real Madrid is reportedly close to signing Fran Garcia in addition to the Brazilian.

Garcia will join Real Madrid at the conclusion of the current campaign, the president of Rayo Vallecano recently stated, albeit it is not yet official. The young player is expected to sign with the Whites for a pitiful sum and will probably take Marcelo’s place over the long term.

Diario AS (via Madrid Xtra) reports that with the signings of Endrick and Garcia, Real Madrid has now successfully signed two of its three positional objectives. Only Jude Bellingham remains on the list of key targets for the Spanish giants. The club has chosen the Englishman as their preferred option to fix the midfield position, which has appeared to be heavily dependent on the services of ageing stalwarts like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

Bellingham’s services will consequently be highly sought after by Real Madrid. Prioritizing the Englishman’s acquisition in the run-up to the forthcoming summer transfer window reflects the club’s preparation for life without players like Kroos and Modric.

But it won’t be easy to convince Bellingham to leave Borussia Dortmund, especially as the Bundesliga powerhouses are ready to extract a high price from the young midfielder. It will be intriguing to see what the future holds for the young potential this coming summer since Liverpool is also active in the pursuit.
