The German international is expecting a big price increase. Talks between Rudiger and Chelsea have reportedly stalled. The former Stuttgart man’s contract will expire at the end of the season. Bayern Munich earlier showed interest in the 28-year-old player to bring him to the Allianz Arena on a free transfer.

According to Spanish newspaper ABC, Rüdiger is on Los Blancos’ radar as Spanish giants look to strengthen their defence.

The 28-year-old centre-back is seen as the potential candidate in defence as they lost Sergio Ramos and Raphaël Varane in the previous window.

Various reports have stated that Bayern’s plans for the German international will rely on whether Niklas Süle looks to depart at the end of the season.
