Club legends don’t want to see Mbappe in a Real Madrid shirt.
Kylian Mbappe ended his transfer saga by extending his contract with PSG until the summer of 2025.
He was very close to signing for Real Madrid this summer but the Ligue 1 giants managed to convince the 23-year-old stay at the capital.
Many Real Madrid fans were left furious with Mbappe’s decision and it’s unlikely the fans would want him at the Bernabeu anytime soon.
Ex-Real Madrid players Guti and VÃctor Sanchez del Amo doesn’t want the Frenchman in a Real Madrid shirt.
“I prefer [signing] Haaland rather than Mbappe,” Guti told El Chiringuito.
“He should focus on playing football and forget about the rest.”
“Real Madrid don’t need Mbappe,” Victor told Movistar’s La Casa del Futbol.
“He’s an impressive player, I don’t doubt that. I think his arrival would disrupt a lot of things that are very well placed right now.
“That is my opinion. Of course, he has the quality to play for Real Madrid or any other team because he is a great player, but I don’t see him as necessary for this Real Madrid.”
