Miguel Muñoz was the legendary figure for Real Madrid. Miguel Muñoz spent 14 years in the Bernabéu dugout. He was one of the legendary players who did both roles comprehensively.

He also won two European Cups, two Copa del Rey, and one Intercontinental Cup. He was the biggest manager of his time in Europe.

In 1960, he became the first coach to win the European trophy as both a player as well as a coach. His 3-3-4 formation was a revolution in football. He worked on the talents like Paco Gento, Alfredo Di Stéfano and Ferenc Puskás.
