Real Madrid are planning to compete for a €35m-rated midfielder from Ligue 1. They are reportedly lining up a summer move for Aurelien Tchouameni.
As per the reports of Marca, Los Blancos are looking to boos their midfield for next season and Monaco midfielder is their main priority. The task would be difficult for Spanish giants as they have to compete with Premier League clubs, Chelsea and Newcastle to sign Frenchman.
The 21-year-old joined Monaco from Bordeaux in 2020 and he has made 65 appearances for his club in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
Aurelien Tchouameni would be the best choice for Real Madrid considering the contract of Luka Modric which will expire next year. Their two other players Toni Kroos and Casemiro will cross 30 next year. Monaco star would be the ideal long-term replacement for Casemiro.
Last season, the Frenchman averaged 3.5 tackles, 1.7 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per game. Real Madrid can see him in their midfield along with Eduardo Camavinga, and Federico Valverde.
