Reports from Spain suggest that the La Liga giants are willing to entertain offers for the 24-year-old, with a price tag reportedly set at €80-85 million.

Tchouameni arrived at Real Madrid in 2022 from AS Monaco in a blockbuster €100 million transfer.

The French international was heralded as a cornerstone of Madrid’s midfield future, impressing fans and critics alike with his blend of physicality, tactical awareness, and composure on the ball.

During his time at the Bernabeu, he played a crucial role in several triumphs, including La Liga and Champions League campaigns.

Yet, the journey has not been without challenges. A series of injury setbacks and fluctuating form have seen the midfielder struggle to maintain his best level.

Spanish outlet Defensa Central notes a “noticeable decline” in Tchouameni’s performances, leading to speculation about his long-term role in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

With Real Madrid currently trailing Barcelona in the league standings and facing stumbles in their European campaign — including back-to-back defeats against AC Milan and Liverpool — the club seems ready to make tough decisions.

While publicly insisting that Tchouameni is not for sale, the murmurs indicate that an attractive offer might change their stance.

Enter Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 champions have been long-time admirers of Tchouameni, having missed out on signing him before his move to Madrid.

PSG’s board reportedly sees him as an ideal fit for their evolving midfield. However, manager Luis Enrique is said to have reservations about the transfer, potentially complicating any move.

As the January transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Madrid and Paris. Whether Tchouameni stays to fight for his place or returns to his home country, his future will undoubtedly shape the narratives of both clubs this season.

For now, the ball is firmly in the court of PSG — and any other suitors willing to meet the asking price.
