Real Madrid have already made a decision over the ideal replacement for Courtois.

Real Madrid are planning to find a future goalkeeper as they want a replacement for their star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Los Blancos have identified Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

Courtois missed the majority of last season with a serious knee injury, but he returned to help his club to win the Champions League final.

Real Madrid’s second-choice goalkeeper is Andriy Lunin who made 31 appearances for the club last season. The 25-year-old is not Ancelotti’s first choice option for future and they want someone next.

His contract will expire in the summer of 2028 as he signed a 5-year contract with the club. He joined Brighton last summer from Anderlecht. The Dutchman has made 29 appearances for Brighton since his arrival.
