Rodrygo has been asked on his feelings over being snubbed for the Ballon d’Or.
Real Madrid star Rodrygo looks unhappy after not finding his name in the Ballon d’Or shortlist. He has admitted that he was surprised to be left off the shortlist for the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
The Brazil international established himself as one of the finest players at Real Madrid. He has netted 55 goals and provided 42 assists from 221 appearances across all competitions.
Rodrygo scored 17 goals and provided nine assists last season to win the treble. He won La Liga and Champions League title in 2023-24.
The 23-year-old was not part of the 30-player shortlist for the Ballon d’Or. He was recently part of the international break where he appeared in World Cup qualifying competition for Brazil. He scored the only goal of the game as Brazil defeated Ecuador on Friday night.
Rodrygo has been asked on his feelings over being snubbed for the Ballon d’Or. He speaks via ESPN, “I was upset, I think I deserved it.
“I don’t want to belittle the players who are there, I think they deserved it also. But I think I had a place in the 30.”
