Mbappe has been nominated for the Player of the Month award for the month of March because of his contributions to the victories over Vallecano and Villarreal. In addition to Mbappe, four other players have been nominated, including Isco, a former Real Madrid playmaker who has contributed to four goals in three games this March.

Isco, Pedro Diaz, Marcos Alonso, and Umar Sadiq are among the opposition for the prize that the Frenchman must contend with. Mbappe, who took home the accolade in January, is nominated for this category for the third consecutive month.
