Both managers will see their contracts expire in the summer of 2026.
Real Madrid are planning to look at the future plans and they want to appoint a new manager next summer. Los Blancos will make an attempt to appoint Xabi Alonso as their new head coach next summer.
Carlo Ancelotti recently signed a contract extension and he will stay for two seasons. However, the 65-year-old manager will be replaced by Xabi Alonso. Ancelotti had a terrific campaign in 2023/24 by winning the Champions League and La Liga title.

Alonso is believed to be the club’s number one choice to replace Ancelotti. As per the reports of Bild, Alonso is likely to replace the Italian manager in next summer. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is believed to be a huge admirer of Alonso.
Alonso guided his club to win the historic Bundesliga without a single defeat. They also won the German Cup and made into the final of Europa League. The 42-year-old will see his contract expire in the summer of 2026.
