According to reports, Real Madrid will gladly provide 24-year-old Brazilian striker Rodrygo Goes in exchange for Liverpool’s 22-year-old German international Florian Wirtz.

If Real Madrid can persuade Liverpool to accept an exchange deal, Florian Wirtz and Rodrygo Goes may soon switch bases, according to a report by the Spanish publication Defensa Central. Los Blancos are interested in Wirtz because they want to add a dynamic playmaker to their midfield.

In the meanwhile, Rodrygo could be interested in moving to the Premier League, as he is dissatisfied with his lack of playing time at Real Madrid. Even with an alluring swap deal featuring Rodrygo, it will be difficult to persuade Liverpool to let go of Wirtz since the Reds are reluctant to let go of the summer arrival.

Since joining Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for a huge quantity of money during the summer transfer window, Florian Wirtz has encountered a brick block. After dominating the Bundesliga for the past five years, the 22-year-old came to Anfield surrounded by excitement and hoopla.

Real Madrid willing to sacrifice star player in swap deal with Liverpool

In fact, Madrid would be open to including Rodrygo in a bold trade for Wirtz, as the German finds it difficult to adjust to life in the Premier League. According to the rumour, Xabi Alonso would be thrilled to have him. Real Madrid is now keeping a careful eye on him since they know he might develop into a very intriguing alternative to bolster their midfield in the future.

Although Liverpool may be interested in Rodrygo, they won’t want to trade him so quickly; therefore, it appears to be an almost impossible move in the short term. The Brazilian attacker has long been on Liverpool’s radar, and the Reds may be interested in a trade.

Alonso has apparently urged Real Madrid to sign Ibrahima Konate and other Liverpool players, so Wirtz is not the only one on the team’s wish list. Wirtz, a 22-year-old German international, is unlikely to see Alonso at the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon since Liverpool would not allow the young player to go.
