Rodrygo played a big role in Real Madrid’s latest Champions League victory.

Real Madrid have tied down Rodrygo to a new long-term contract, with the Brazilian forward agreeing on a new deal until 2028.

He has excelled since joining the Los Blancos in 2019 and they felt compelled to improve and extend his deal that was due to expire in 2025.

Rodrygo played a big role in Real Madrid’s latest Champions League victory. He scored important goals against Chelsea in the quarter-finals and also netted a crucial brace against Manchester City late on in the semi-finals.

The only thing missing is the signature to finalise the extension agreed between Real Madrid and Rodrygo. The idea is that this will take place next week, says Marca.
