Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes has confirmed he received offers to leave the club during the past summer transfer window, but ultimately reaffirmed his commitment to the Spanish giants.

‘Of Course There Were Offers,’ Admits Rodrygo in Future Clarification

In an interview with Diario AS, the Brazilian superstar acknowledged the constant speculation surrounding his future.

“The same thing happens to me every summer,” Rodrygo stated.

“Of course, there are always offers; I’m not going to lie about that”.

Despite the options available, his priority remained clear. “But I always made it clear to the club that I want to continue succeeding here,” he emphasized, adding his ambition to win more European Cups with Real Madrid.

His commitment to the club is absolute, contingent on one simple condition. “I’ve always said: ‘As long as Real Madrid wants me, I’ll be here,’” Rodrygo explained.

He confirmed that the club has consistently shown faith in him, a key factor in his decision to stay.

The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City mentioned as interested parties.

Beyond England, other European powerhouses like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain also expressed interest.

Reports indicated that Real Madrid received a formal offer from Bayern Munich but rejected it immediately, demonstrating their desire to keep the player.

Despite the intense external speculation, Rodrygo revealed he remained calm, even joking with his family about the weekly transfer rumors.

With his future settled for now, the two-time Champions League winner is focused solely on contributing to Real Madrid, the team he calls “home”.
